System Engineering
All systems are engineered only after a site visit has been completed and are based on extensive input from the end customer. Mechanical conveyor and control system designs will be completed based on the customers manufacture performance. If the customer has no preference ATA will be happy to recommend the best solution for the particular situation. ATA has done systems with all the major conveyor manufactures. |

Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
ATA control systems are typically implemented using Allen Bradley PLCs and either HP or IBM servers. PLC programs are written in ladder logic and are interfaced to the PCs via OPC or in the case of high speed application, custom written DLL files. The PLCs communicate to the server(s), which are running Windows Server 2003, and Microsoft SQL Server 2003, and are interfaced to the inline scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), warehouse hand scanners, and custom applications written in one of the many Visual Studio.NET languages. |
